In general, I am seduced by the combination of organic and electronic trends. Many of my musical concerns and influences are from instrumental composers. All these helps me to define the concept behind a song, since music alone has no limits.
"With an impeccable production, a very successful sound structure and deep themes, Metaphora; is the appropriate title to describe this work in which the imaginary and the real coexist perfectly within the same score."
Joan Trias, periodista
"Metaphora; is the new sound journey of Guiem Soldevila, singer and composer, who in this new work looks at the horizon from his Balearic vantage point. Music to dream."
Álvaro Soto, Radio Nacional de España
“Guiem sets music to Nura by Ponç Pons, as the invisible hand fits the glove made from the fabric of the soul. The poet is fascinated. The result is quite right. The verses of Ponç Pons stir up our consciousness, and Soldevila’s music is, simply, extraordinary”.
Raquel Marquès, Diari de Menorca newspaper
“A complex album which I consider a fantastic endeavour. The work Guiem has done is not easy at all, you need experience to do it”.
LLuís Llach, cantant
“A very beautiful piece of work by composer Guiem Soldevila, Nura. Soldevila is not only a songwriter but a complete musician. When you finish feeling and listening to the album you feel you’ve been ‘saved by beauty’”.
Jordi Llavina, La Vanguardia newspaper
“Amoramort is a step towards the dimension of the senses ends where deep details emerge about the feelings of the bowels and notes covering the colors of an intense inner landscape.”
LLuís Gendrau (journalist and editor of the magazine Enderrock)
“No concessions to ease and lightness, Guiem Soldevila has made a smart, sensitive and memorable work.”
Ponç Pons (poet)
